The Mayor of Bratislava received the Ambassador and the Honorary consul of Azerbaijan

On February 24, 2012, the Mayor of the Slovakia’s capital Bratislava, Milan Ftáčnik, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Galib Israfilov .

The Ambassador visited the Mayor’s residence in the Primates Palace accompanied by the Honorary consul of Azerbaijan, Mr. Džalal Gasymov and the Secretary of the Embassy, Mr. Yusif Madatov. The meeting was the first regarding the meeting of the Mayor of Bratislava with the representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Slovakia.

Good relations between Slovakia and Azerbaijan create a strong potential for the partnership of capital cities of both countries. The meeting was not only complimentary, its purpose was also a discussion about mutual cooperation which has a chance to realize in the cultural field in the near future.

After the meeting with the Mayor, guests visited the premises of the Primates Palace.
