The visit of the Slovak Constitutional Court delegation in Azerbaijan

On the basis of the invitation of the President of the Azerbaijani Constitutional Court, Farhad Abdullayev, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic headed by the chairwoman Ivette Macejková visited the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, which is also the seat of the local Constitutional Court, on  5 – 8 October 2009.
In addition to joint negotiations of Azerbaijani and Slovak constitutional judges, during which they got acquainted with the power and competence of both constitutional courts, the Slovak delegation was received by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov, Chairman of the Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev and Ombudsman Elmira Suleyman.
