Memorial to the victims of the holocaust

On March 24, 2011 a pious memorial to the victims of the first transportation from Slovakia to the concentration camp in Auschwitz took place. The Honorary consul of Azerbaijan, Mr. Gasymov attended the event.

At 4 p.m. people gathered at the memorial tablet to lay wreaths and pray for the victims. The program continued by opening the exhibition Caucasian Jews – Azerbaijan by Michal Vaněk. For those who are interested, visit Tatranská galéria (Tatra Gallery) at Hviezdoslavova street 12 in Poprad.
