Azerbaijan for the 1st time at the Christmas bazaar

Azerbaijan participated at the 24th charitable Christmas bazaar that takes place in Stará Tržnica Town Hall in the Slovak capital for the first time this year. Bazaar is annually organized by the International Women’s Club. Embassies and other representations of foreign countries in Slovakia have an excellent opportunity to sell their typical national goods or food under one roof and help to raise the money to support charitable projects all over Slovakia. The aim is to present the international community, uniqueness of each country and let the visitors experience the taste of various cultures. The Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by chargé d’affaires Mr. Emin Mammadov appreciated this opportunity and offered freshly prepared Azerbaijani specialties and souvenirs to the quests of the Christmas bazaar on Sunday on November 22, 2015. Azerbaijani stand had been a welcomed addition and we already look forward to next year’s Christmas bazaar.
