Honorary consulate in Bratislava does not issue visas nor does it submit applications to the Embassy in Vienna.

Starting from 10 th January 2017, the State Agency on Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan will begin to process electronic visas through “ASAN Visa” system. E-visa is issued within 3 (three) working days, it will be valid for 30 days and the fee for it is 20$.

Depending on the purpose of the visit you have to follow the rules:

 

Rules for obtaining Business Visas

Documents required based on invitation letter (with signature and stamp) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
– valid passport (+copy)
– filled electronic application form
– one biometric photos taken within last 6 months
– visa fee
Documents required based on invitation letter (with signature and stamp) from partner company in Azerbaijan:

– valid passport (+copy)
– filled electronic application form
*after filling E-Visa Application Form, print it out and apply to the Consular Section with required documents.
– one biometric photos taken within last 6 months
– hotel reservation
– statute document of a inviting company
– reservation of flight ticket
– visa fee
– travel insurance (for all stay period)

Rules for obtaining Tourist Visas

Documents:
– valid passport (+copy)
– filled electronic application form (use Google Chrome)
* after filling E-Visa Application Form, print it out and apply to the Consular Section with required documents.
– one biometric photos taken within last 6 months
– hotel reservation or notarized personal invitation from the citizen of Azerbaijan with attached copy of his ID.
– reservation of flight ticket
– visa fee
– travel insurance (for all stay period)

Rules for obtaining Tourist Visas via Tourist Agencies

Visitors need to provide all necessary documents to one of the national travel companies mentioned below or their partners abroad. After the relevant documents are prepared the national travel companies apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for e-visa. When confirmed by MFA, e-visa is forwarded to visitors in electronic format. Henceforth, visitors just need to print out the e-visa and are free to visit the country via any modes of entry (by air, on land, by sea etc.).

 

To obtain e-visa visitors only need to contact Azerbaijani travel companies or their partners abroad. E-visas are single-entry and are valid for a maximum duration of 30 days. The price for e-visa is 20 US dollars.

 

Currently, 32 main travel companies operating in the country are authorized to apply for e-visas to foreign tourists. To find the list of these travel companies click here.

 

Rules for obtaining Transit Visas

The applicant has to submit to the Consular Section one week prior to a trip, a valid entry visa to a country of destination, as well as a round trip ticket. The validity of single transit visa is 3 days, double transit visa – 5 days. For the visit and stay in the areas of Azerbaijan bordering with Armenia, after arrival in Azerbaijan the applicant has to get permission in the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

Rules for obtaining Official Visas

– note verbale (only for diplomats and employees of the international organizations)
– copy of a diplomatic ID (only for diplomats)

Payment method:

 

All applicants have to come personally to the Embassy with all necessary documents before payment. Payments should be made in Euros (net) in accordance with the current exchange rate.
